New Member Spotlight

Bonnie DeWitt: Bonnie has lived in Painesville forever. She is married to a semi-retired chemist from, Ricerca. They have two children-daughter Kelly who is a teacher in Dayton area with three boys, and a son, Keith, who is a police lieutenant in the village of Waite Hill. He also went to the police academy at Quantico. Bonnie has worked at the Lake County Court House in the commissioners' office as a secretary. She and her husband have been married for 48 years.

Jackie Cicconetti: Although Jackie was born in Cleveland, at age three her family moved to Painesville, so she definitely considers herself a native of Lake County. She attended St. Mary School and graduated from Villa Maria in Pennsylvania. She attended Lakeland and Lake Erie College where she participated in many plays. She has also been in plays at the local wineries and Fine Arts of Willoughby. Jackie and her husband, Angelo were married for 61 years. They had 9 children, 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and are awaiting another in March. Jackie worked for 29 years at ADAMHS in Painesville. She brought to the board Psychosocial Drama a group that makes mental health services available to people throughout the county. She is also a member of the St. Mary Church choir.

Nita Wyatt: Nita Wyatt grew up in Cleveland and Parma. Shortly after high school she married a Marine, had a son, and lived in Tennessee and South Carolina. Nita now lives in Perry with her husband. They don’t have pets, but Nita’s husband allows her to clean the 55-gallon fish tank. They have six grandchildren, all living nearby. Nita has worked in the medical field since 1980. Theater is her passion and she has been involved with Rabbit Run Theater for years. Nita and her husband love to travel, and spend some time in Florida in the winter.

Sandy Cobb: Sandy is actually a returning member of Music and Drama, coming back now that she has time again. She was born in Steubenville, the only girl in the family along with five brothers! She went to nursing school in Steubenville and in Pittsburgh to become an RN. Later, she went back to school at Lake Erie, while her two children were also in school. She now has one granddaughter, the light of her life. She loves cats, the theater, traveling, and all kinds of music, from pop to classical to religious music. She is a member of the choir at the Painesville Methodist Church and of a church in Florida when she is there in the winter. Sandy loves cultural events so much that she hunts out local events and usually goes to some event three or four evenings a week.

Marylyn Feurst: Marilyn was born in Akron, grew up in Richfield, and then lived in Cleveland for twenty years. She graduated from Kent State with a B.A. in social work, and took further classes at Case W.R. for another year. Most of her career was spent working for the Cuyahoga Department of Human Services as a social worker. Marilyn has one daughter and two grandchildren who live in Leroy. They are what drew Marilyn and her husband to Lake County. Marilyn likes to play the piano, for her own enjoyment.

Florence Brundage: Florence was born and grew up in Huntington, New York (on Long Island.) After she was married, she lived many places. Florence has four children, ten grandchildren (4 of whom are married,) and is eagerly waiting the birth of her first great-grandchild in October.
